About Morningside
Within the Upper Eastside enclave is the classic neighborhood of Morningside Miami, just east of Biscayne Boulevard. The neighborhood has been around since the 1920s and was formerly referred to by a name commonly seen around Miami Beach these days: “Bay Shore”. The neighborhood is historic enough that it would eventually become the first to be designated as a historic district within the city of Miami. None other than the late pope John Paul II once stayed at one of the Morningside homes.
Morningside real estate contains many waterfront homes of varying size and square footage but what you’ll principally notice about these residences is their design which is clearly a throwback to when the neighborhood first emerged in the 1920s and began its development. The neighborhood has its own namesake park and is also near the Julia Tuttle Causeway which provides easy access to Miami Beach.
